I think I would give up on berries, too! I love the things you are doing. I think gourds and grape vines are some of the neatest things going. I live on a small 10 ac. farm and have found so many different things to do and you just added to it. I use my gourds for bird houses and hang them in all the trees. I have grapes and at the end of summer I cut them down and make wreaths. I also have house plants that vine and use the grape vines for them to climb. I used to have a lot of blackberry bushes but could'nt figure out why I never had any berries so I sat one night and found the culprit, it was a small black bear and he loved them. I have made about twenty so far (so easy to make) alot of my friends love this recycled stuff so i am making them to give away in my gift baskets (which incidentally contain heaps of recycled stuff and the actual basket is a woven newspaper basket!!!
