I need a place to keep all of my handmade gifting plans for the year, and I thought you might too.
When I have some spare time, I like to know where I’m headed on my projects so I don’t run late on somebody’s afghan, or (like this Xmas) start my batch of soap too late to cure on time.

And with close relatives like, say, mother(s), that’s two Mother’s Day presents, two birthdays, and two Christmas presents that I have to keep straight. I can’t tell you how many times over the last few months I’ve said, “Dang, I have to get started on those rugs!,” only to remember that those aren’t until later this year and that I’m actually supposed to be taking pics of the kids for the project that comes before that.

So here you go!

1. Print the pdf on fresh or recycled paper (old printing will be hidden in final assembly) and fold all pages in half horizontally. (If you get a bandwidth denial, use this link)

2. Find the page that says” Upcoming Gift Occasions” followed by “January”. Fold again (fourths) so that page is on the inside left of your “book.” Crease, open, and lay flat(ish) on the table.
3. Find the Find the page that says “November”. Fold again (fourths) so that page is on the inside left of your “book.” Crease, open, and lay inside previous page.

4. Fold all other pages in half again, stacking up pages until you finish.

5. Poke some holes in the spine and tie a couple of strings through.

6. Run a THIN line of glue down the outer edge of the “wrong sides” to make a pocket, in which to stick your patterns, recipes, fabric and paint swatches, etc.

Enjoy!
