For all ya’ll on pins and needles….I got a continuance to finish my permit/variance. Bit boring? Yes. However, I have a fabuloso video courtesy of the lovely people at Channel Five Evening News. Click the logo below to see the video.

And if you’re on in the next ten minutes (8:15 AM central), listen live here. Ron from FM100 called this morning to interview me about the goats. I love his teaser line, “When we come back, we’ll talk to a lady in Collierville who has adopted two miniature goats and run into a buzzsaw of controversy.” HA!

WAIT!! I just found another article in the Commercial Appeal!

If you’ve posted any updates omn your goats, I’ve missed them…what’s going on?

Did you hear about the lady in Bartlett (had to move 2 years ago to Raliegh) with like, 8 wallabys, 4 St Benards, some kind of bird, ect. Goats are much better. At least they are normal!

@Sharon–NO! I had not heard about that!

How much property do you have to be able to have goats and chickens?

Ivorysoap July 14, 2009 at 8:42 am

I’m not sure about the chickens, because I have an excessively large pen and have never checked. It’s something tiny, though, like six square feet per bird. But I know for goats you need a 20 X 20 pen.
