I am so glad someone else already asked about planting some thing else than chard. My kids love salad, seriously, but do not like chard. We do eat our body weight in fresh spinach leaves though!! I can't wait to try growing spinach this year , especially since the local grocery has started charging gold boullion prices for a bag of spinach!!
