Hi elsa, yes, I’ve noticed how sweet the canned kind is, too. Not sure why they go so overboard with it. Hope you like this one, it’s very basic–put your own spin on it.

Tanya–Hope you like it. Tomato soup lends itself to your own twists and add-ins. The big T is for tablespoon.

oh gosh, that’s just what I’ve been wanting … a good tomato soup to cook up! had one in a can from the health food store … Amy’s … and it was awful. Too sweet … I added basil and pepper, but to no avail.
Thanks for the recipe, can hardly wait to make it!

Hi..sounds wonderful…I never thought of putting jalapeno pepper in my tomato soup so will definately try this…what does 1T.oil mean though??
