@Krista– No sweat! It’s just a rosary for a different prayer. For the Rosary (proper noun), we meditate on snippets from Christ’s earthly life. There are many other rosaries or chaplets. Each has a different number of beads. For some we meditate on the Seven Sorrows of Mary (7 sets of beads), Five Wounds of Christ (5 sets of beads), Way of the Cross(15 sets of beads), etc.

I really like this idea, and I’m amazed I hadn’t thought of it myself. I knit, so I’m going to look for some knitting patterns for a rosary, or make up my own. What a great way to get rid of all those leftover bits of yarn from completed projects! I may even make enough to give away. Thanks again!

I love this little doo dad! What is a Chaplet? I understand what a rosary is but I’ve never heard of a Chaplet. I’m Protestant so please forgive my ignorance.

My son was very impressed with this…especially as it was made out of yarn. I am very envious that you have the ability to do this….trying to understand the stitches is like trying to read chinese to me
