OOh man ! Have I ever BTDT with the camera cords, and USB cords, and power cords. I have teenagers who eat them for the non-dietary fiber content…..

Please inscribe my book: For my three darlings, may your life be a grand ball and may you always be inspired to dance your way through it. Love, Mama

Oh Ivory, some days its just not worth chewing through the restraints is it?

I hate to steal someone elses inscription, but if I was lucky enough to win i’d like
“To Michelle, Dance as though no one is watching you, love as though you have never been hurt, sing as though no one can hear you, live as though heaven is on earth. Ivory, aka Deanna”.

Good luck with the camera and the short people!

OK, I stumbled you. I subscribe to you. I enjoy your blog every chance I have.
If I win the book, I would love it to read “May you encourage kids to dance and love” I want to give it to my mother who is a children’s librarian in the town I grew up in.
Keep coming up with all the creative things you do!

58 Robin October 16, 2009 at 9:24 pm

I forgot to mention: I would also love any of the other prizes. But then again who wouldn’t.

59 Heather October 16, 2009 at 9:30 pm

Thank you so much for the link to The Nourished Kitchen. I have discovered Nourishing Traditions and have devoured the book. I’m now making my own bread every week after soaking the flour.

I feel like a new chapter has opened up for me and my kids.

Thank you again.

I’m going to blog about it as soon as I’m done with this (http://packardfamilyblog.blogspot.com) , and I did facebook it (which, at one point in time, you invited me to your page and I accidentally ignored it :( )
And I signed up for emails. So is that 3 entries? Awesome
And my inscription for the book:
For Riley – Always keep dancing! Love Ivory aka Deanna

But I’d love, love, love the washcloths and bath products too! Yay!

61 Lindsay October 16, 2009 at 9:43 pm

Oh, and we had to invest in a card reader because we had so many cords we couldn’t keep up with them. Just a thought… :)

75 BJ October 17, 2009 at 7:48 am

Hi Ivory,
About your camera…. if you’re not using the special lithium photo batteries in your camera already, I highly recommend them! My camera gobbles through regular alkaline batteries in less than three weeks and I don’t use it that much. The lithium batteries are more expensive, but they last much, much longer.
Good luck with that mystery cord :)

76 Jordan October 17, 2009 at 8:10 am

I love your blog and the email updates are wonderful! and with very little convincing I had my best friend Jen from Ottawa, Canada subscribe. I would LOVE to win the soap and washcloth all for myself and the book would be wonderful for my little cousin. “Dance like no one’s watching” and a signature would be fantastic!
I stumbled the giveaway and tweeted about it as well!
http://twitter.com/flygurl27

That battery/cord scenario is played at my house quite often. Glad I’m not the only one. I would love the book, if I win, to be inscribed to Mrs. Thompson to be read to all who dance through her classroom.
Thanks

80 Joan October 17, 2009 at 10:17 am

I don’t have any little girls in my family to give the book to….. maybe I could just find some little girl for a random act of kindness!!! That would be fun to do.

Thanks for having giveaways!!! It’s something to look forward to in these gloomy times!

I think your camera cord migrated up to St. Louis, maybe, and is in a plastic bin in my garage.

If I were fortunate enough to win the book I would love to have it inscribed to “La petite Sylvie.” She is the daughter of friends, and I’ve been getting books for her since before she was born.

Merci bien,
Nelie

88 Cindy R. October 17, 2009 at 7:35 pm

Don’t have any little girls of my own, but there are two sisters at our church who would probably adore this book, so inscription would be “To Emma and Ella, Wishing you lives filled with joy and happiness.”

Would definitely enjoy the other gifts as well. Thanks for such a fun giveaway.

Hi there Ivory,

I’ve been lurking for a long while (and subscribed to yours and TL’s email feed). Good luck finding the camera cord (have you checked under the bed? That’s where I found mine once).

If I was to win, I would like the inscription to say;
May your life take the form of a dance, full of colour and movement, together giving beauty and meaning to even the smallest steps.

Thankyou,
Hannah (Adelaide)
P.S. The website is my mother’s.

91 Tina Latham October 18, 2009 at 5:42 am
