Thanks for the posting. I’ve been stymied at around page 100 of a novel I’m struggling to finish. By taking your advice, I’ve clarified my purpose and my characters This two-sentence exercise is more difficult than it looks, but more rewarding than you first imagine. I feel ready to back through my existing material to make the changes necessary to allow me to push forward with renewed zest and vision. I owe this to your advice and to my fabulous daughter who is critiqued my two-sentence summary. You are both godsends. Thank you.
