Behind the LHITS Book: Photoshop Quiz

Publishers have a look they’re going for.  Some stuff is cool in the background.  Some stuff isn’t.  Apparently, my VANITY taste is not professionally refined.  Lemme show you what I would have photoshopped out of our pictures. (The above picture is just an adorable shot of my daughter in a floppy hat. Never photoshop perfection.)

So, here’s what I would have disappear-ed:

My neighbor's BULGING trash can.

The tops of our fish-eye lens created cone heads.

Arm flab, frown lines, etc.

In fairness, they cropped that last one where it was just my hands and cukes.  And not that I truly dislike how I look here.  But, wouldn’t it be fun to get the official magazine photoshop treatment, even if they just mailed it to me as a present?  Squee!

Anyway, here’s the actual photoshop work.  See if you can spot the difference.

Is it the 2 dirt/sand/unknown squares in the background? :) Do I win? ;P LOL

I am saving up for your book, cannot wait to get it. Thanks for all the posts and advice, I am looking forward to applying more of the things you’ve both taught into my life day by day.

Yup. The concrete squares where there should be picnic tables.

LOL. I wouldn’t even notice who’s wearing what and whether your heads are slightly conical. The cukes and squash would have me looking closely, though!

Yay! And is that a park or your backyard? If its the latter I think I may cry…

I love the picture of you taking the goats for a walk! So precious.

Nik, It’s the common area behind my back yard. If you look at the back right corner, that’s my backyard fence.
