In Little House knitting news, I was halfway through knitting a second sock yesterday when I put down my needles and took up another set of needles.  Tiny ones, size 1.

When I’m in second sock mode I sometimes need a little break, not from knitting, but from that pair of socks.

I’d seen a pattern that was calling to me, with a tiny but insistently cute voice.  It was, in a word, irresistible.

I made a sweatuh for my key.  A tiny tiny sweatuh.

It needed it today, too.  It was in the 20’s this morning when I took it outside for its first time all sweatered up.

“Won’t the other keys be jealous?” my husband wondered.

I didn’t knit it quite correctly, but the key doesn’t seem to be particular about it, and neither do I.  Here’s the pattern if you are similarly seized with silliness, I mean, . . . the desire to have warm and cozy keys.
