I’m sorry that we’ve both been out of pocket, but that’s just the nature of the summer with this many children, I guess. We’ll surface soon!

Thanks for having an awesome hop – so glad to participate! I love reading about all the gardens, DIY projects and beautiful pictures, but I got in a bit early this morning so I will have to come back and read everything this weekend! I added one about making cheese with do-it-yourself vegetable rennet made from either purple thistle or nettle! I hope your weekend is wonderful! Vickie

Thank you for hosting — I am number 33 this week: Garden Produce: To Can or Not to Can.

My ubiquitous message, no matter what I write about, seems to be the same: find what works for you, and do it, or don’t do it. Never feel compelled to do something — like canning produce — if you don’t like the process or the product.

You may be like me, someone who grazes through the garden, and, because I cook, uses what’s there when it’s there. I actually cook, and eat pumpkin, which means that, in July, I don’t have to put up green beans to eat in November, because I’m eating pumpkin.

So go ahead. Free yourself.

Thanks for hosting! I’m #47 and #48 and I shared my 2 part series on how to use pure henna to naturally dye, strengthen, nourish and grow your hair longer!
