row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook, skip 2 ch, 3 dc in next ch, (ch 3, skip 3 ch, sc in next ch, skip 2 ch, 3 dc in next ch) 4 times.
row 2: ch 1, turn, sc in first dc, skip 2 dc, 3 dc in next sc, (ch 3 , sc in next dc, skip 2 dc, 3 dc in next sc) 4 times.
rows 3-16: repeat row 2
sc crochet around evenly, sticking in dc in the waffly dips across the top.
weave in ends.
I enjoy your patterns, but wish you had a “printer friendly” version. To print this page, I wasted 4 pc of paper, and way too much ink. Maybe the term should be “eco- friendly printing”.

Just a suggestion. When there is no “printer friendly button’, I highlight the pattern, hit copy in edit, min that page and open up word and paste. Then I print.
Saves a lot of ink. Sometimes I hit print preview and see what pages I need to get pattern and then print only those pages. Hope this helps.

If you want to control what you print just copy what you want and paste it in a word doc or note pad. Also by doing that when the pattern instructions are small you could put two on one page! 🙂
You can also “preview” see what are wasted pages, and then just print just the pages you want.
