Well….we are talking about putting a goat in our hilly back yard. Any advice as to their effectiveness as “Green Lawn Mowers”? :>)

you need more than one goat, only girls, and make sure you don’t LOVE any plants in the area. Also, two mini-goats effectively mow a .25 acre for us. If that’s a help in deciding the effectiveness.

Also, remember goats will eat ANYTHING! If you don’t want them eating something, keep it way out of their area. Far, far away! My babysitter had a goat that ate the laundry off of the line, a planter box, part of a sand tire. The vet was there a LOT until she learned!

Thanks, gals….one question, though….is a plastic bag and pooper scooper necessary in a back yard? No one plays there…..but you never know…:>)!

I would just love those goats, especially the “Nanny Goat”. I think goats milk, and also cheese, is yummy!
Too cute!
Ohhh…I want some. Those goats are adorable!
Squee! I hope you’ll keep us posted as they grow up 🙂
You wanna see cute???
